From 20 to 23 September 2022, the global community of Living Labs met again in Turin, Italy and LifeChamps project was here!
As the main business and cultural center of Piedmont, this thriving city was the perfect place to talk about open innovation, emerging technologies, and green transition. OLLD 2022 was not just a gathering of Living Lab professionals, changemakers, shapers, entrepreneurs, and academics. It was a place to develop new ideas and form partnerships while professionals gathered to share their thoughts and experiences on the most pressing matters facing our cities and living environments today.
The LifeChamps was represented by AUTH partner and specifically by Prof. Panagiotis Bamidis- LifeChamps Project Coordinator, Dr. Antonis Billis – LifeChamps Scientific Coordinator & Despoina Mantziari – Ph.D. Candidate & Research Associate at AUTH iMedPhys Lab. The AUTH team had the opportunity to showcase the project’s framework and analyze LifeChamps’ mission and overall aim.
Also during the OLLD, a special focus was given on the Oncology-Focused Living Labs, the initiative, led by LifeChamps partners (AUTH, ECPC) with the support of ENoLL and SIOG, in the framework of the EU Cancer Mission recommendation to use the LLs as a vehicle towards the effective digital transformation of the cancer clinical practice & care and the upgrade of research & innovation in the field.
