LifeChamps was proud to participate in the 7th Annual Hellenic Cancer Federation Conference, an essential event focusing on creating a national action plan for cancer care and addressing various challenges faced by oncology patients, including elderly cancer patients and their carers. Our Scientific Coordinator, Dr Antonis Billis, delivered a presentation that showcased the ways LifeChamps supports elderly cancer patients, their carers, and health professionals.
The conference, which took place in 2023, brought together healthcare professionals, researchers, and policy-makers to discuss pressing issues in cancer care and explore innovative solutions to improve the lives of those affected by cancer in Greece. Dr. Billis’ presentation highlighted the importance of personalized care for elderly cancer patients, emphasizing the need for tailored support and services that consider the unique challenges faced by this population.
Following the conference, the LifeChamps team received a warm thank you letter from the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Cancer Federation, expressing their appreciation for our valuable contribution to the event.
