The LifeChamps 1st Plenary Meeting took place online on the October 1st, 2020, due to the constraints happening by the COVID-19 pandemic. The meeting’s virtual space turned out very fruitful, as the partners had the chance to present the project’s main accomplishments and overall progress.
A productive discussion took place among all the participants focusing on the critical issues the project currently undertakes due to the COVID-19 situation. The partners shared and exchanged ideas on realistic ways to overcome the problems. This is an important milestone for the LifeChamps consortium because the project is inextricably linked with cancer patients, who are almost impossible to approach.
Furthermore, as October is the breast cancer awareness month, a communication plan has been discussed to increase attention and support awareness.
Still, much is expected to come up as a result of the hard work of our team. We are all hoping to gain valuable insights from the R&D perspectives and the improvement of quality of life of patients who have cancer in a significant manner.
